Meet Candace

Hi, I’m Candace! I   design digital products, six years  in.

What interests me is clarity — figuring out what people actually need to solve a problem, then building it properly.

I care about the interface as much as what sits behind it: business goals, technical constraints, and whether the thing actually works once it ships.

Hello, hi!
How are you?

The part I keep coming back to

Why I design

I came to product design through e-commerce and marketing, where I was already redesigning flows, writing for users, and making decisions based on how people actually behaved and using those insights to shape the experience.

What pulled me closer to product was the chance to fix the thing itself. Instead of finding a better way to explain a confusing experience, I could help make the experience less confusing in the first place.

That’s still the part I enjoy most: finding where something stops making sense, understanding why, and making it a little clearer for the person on the other side.

Why work with me

I make messy problems workable.

I like getting to the real problem before jumping into solutions, bringing together user needs, business context, and constraints to give the team a clear direction forward.

I bring people into the process.

I share work early and often, using flows, prototypes, and conversations to make decisions visible and keep product, engineering, and stakeholders moving together.

I see the work through to launch.

I don’t see handoff as the finish line. I stay close through implementation, learn from what happens after launch, and keep refining when the outcome tells us there’s more to solve.

Tiny Habitat Designer

I love building little worlds for my hamsters. I put a surprising amount of thought into making tiny spaces feel just right.

Fan Content Creator

Some people watch and move on. If I love something enough, chances are I’ll end up making something about it. There’s something special about revisiting the what-ifs and the moments a story never got to give us, then turning those unfinished feelings into stories of their own.

One More Thing...

Currently: Splatoon 3. Apparently, chaotic teamwork counts as relaxation.
